UNC Charlotte Botanical Gardens

It is finally Spring in Charlotte and that means that flowers are starting to bloom! If you're looking for a fun, educational, and picturesque place to take a walk (or plan an Instagram photoshoot...) the UNC Charlotte Botanical Gardens are the perfect place! The Claywells decided to check out the UNC Charlotte Botanical Gardens located directly on Campus. Stefanie went to UNC Charlotte (Go 49ers!) and never visited the Botanical Gardens. While on campus we had to stop at the Student Union to take in this amazing view of the main quad on campus! The UNCC Botanical Gardens were founded in 1966 to create a living learning space for Biology students. The Gardens are over 10 acres and are home to thousands of different flowers and trees. There is a parking lot directly at the Greenhouse, which is part of the Botanical Gardens. Parking there is limited, however there are plenty of parking decks within walking distance. 5 Day Adventure in Puerto Rico

The Claywells ventured out again! This time we headed to Puerto Rico with our friends Eunice and Brandi! The following Covid-19 restrictions were in place as of 7/14/2021: You will still need a negative PCR test to enter the island! You can find all up to date travel information here: Travel Guidelines Disclaimer: This is a very busy itinerary, we tried to explore the entire island in five days! If we would go again, we would have spent more time in some places and skipped other places. For full transparency we are still going to share the entire itinerary as I know there are so many adventurous friends out there that would love to know our insights. If you do decide to explore Puerto Rico as much as we did, then you will need to rent a car. We rented from Popular Auto Rentals and had a great experience.
